I read too fast for that and it is frustrating! I think the concept is great, but if they make it reasonable and affordable they will compete better in the market. Unfinished and unedited books should be WAY cheaper than the completed and edited books. I will hand over your feedback to our Product Manager. We are sonsidering a more reasonable price strategy! For one, it's marketed as a graphic novel but it isn't. The editing and grammar seemed like it was translated from the original language but hadn't had an English editor take a look at it. The story also felt very long and drawn out when it didn't need to be.
Overall, this book has potential but I couldn't keep my attenti President Daddy's Excessive Love Volume One is a book that needs just a pinch more editing.
Overall, this book has potential but I couldn't keep my attention on it. One out of five stars. Thank you to NetGalley and Independent Publishers Group for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. Feb 27, Lizzy Elizabeth added it.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is the first in a series and focuses on Tang Youyou, a young woman who was sexually assaulted when she was a teenager by a mystery man who left her disgraced and pregnant.
In this first installment in Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. In this first installment in the series, Tang Youyou returns home from five years abroad with her young twin children, only to discover who their biological father is. The children then take it upon themselves to try and get their mother and bio daddy to marry That being said, it is an English translation of Bei Xiaoai's original work, so it may just be how the translator chose to transcribe this version.
Not only was it rife with spelling and pronoun mistakes, but some of the colloquial sayings made no sense in English, although Chinese readers may have understood. It could be difficult to read at times, but despite the writing style and clerical errors, the storyline itself was incredibly interesting. It felt like I was reading a soap opera - so much drama, but I couldn't look away!
I am at a crossroad because I want to find out how Tang Youyou and Ji Xiaohan's relationship progress, but I do not know if I can get through another 9 volumes fraught with grammatical mistakes. Mar 28, Angelica Dominguez rated it liked it. First of all I want to say that the book is labeled as a graphic novel, comic, however the image you find is the one on the cover.
Omitting that, I can tell you that despite some grammatical errors quite a few errors , the book reads fairly quickly once you get over the fact that you are going to come across misplaced words or mismatched connectors. I understand that it is a translation, but whoever did the translation work had to be careful when doing it. Taking that point aside and taking the First of all I want to say that the book is labeled as a graphic novel, comic, however the image you find is the one on the cover.
Taking that point aside and taking the one that interests us and that is the story, which tells us about Tang Youyou, a girl who was sexually abused, 5 years later returns to her hometown with 2 children born as a result of this rape.
At first I was embarrassed that she was related to her rapist, but as we advanced we learned that both she and her abuser were deceived. This is the first volume of several more volumes, which I hope to be able to read soon because I liked the story a lot, it reminded me of the way the dramas unfold and I love the dramas and this story has enough of these.
I would give it 3 stars out of 5 and I hope that for the following books the labeling that says it is a graphic novel will be changed because it is not and the grammar will be improved. The story was pretty interesting and really easy to skim through because of the simplistic language.
You could definitely tell this novel was translated because it had so many grammatical errors. The grammatical errors made reading a bit confusing at first but once you got over it, it was pretty easy to skim through the story because you were rea Thank you Netgalley for the eARC!
The grammatical errors made reading a bit confusing at first but once you got over it, it was pretty easy to skim through the story because you were reading for the gist of the plot, not so much details. I don't think I'll be reading the rest of the volumes in this series though. Apr 01, Blessing Umukoro rated it liked it.
