Thank you, Rob. Well it works ok, but not being able to filter out local network usage is a big down side for me. I have a windows computer working as a a media server and I like to watch and listen using my linux laptop with bitmeter on it. This skews my results quite a bit! I would love to see an IP address filter on this otherwise useful and lightweight program.
BitMeter is freeware - ie. This is what BitMeter looks like. The different colours on the graph represent your upload and download speeds, the display updates every second, and the current speeds are also displayed numerically in the lower part of the window.
